Deon is an entrepreneur and co-founder of Kwande Capital, bringing deep experience across engineering, strategy, and energy markets. He began his career as a process engineer at Shell and BP, later joining McKinsey & Company as a consultant. Combining technical expertise with strategic insight, Deon has spent his career advising, trading, and building ventures within the energy sector. He holds a BSc (Chemical Engineering) and an MBA from the University of Cape Town.
